Wow, I haven't posted in quite a while.  I guess I've just been so busy getting used to my new owner.  She seems ok, although she doesn't seem to have much time for me sometimes.  She's gone a lot, but when she is around and has time, she's started taking me for walks.  Yay!  Walks are awesome.  I get to sniff out all the stuff around here.  There seem to be a lot of other doggies by where we live.  I don't see them too often, but I sure do smell them.

The fleas are no longer a problem, thank goodness.  They seem to be gone for now.  Mommy took me to the doctor a couple weeks ago and one thing she did say was that I didn't have fleas.  I do, however, have some anxiety problems.  Whenever Mommy leaves, I get scared.  I think it's because I've been moved around from owner to owner so much.  Nobody seems to want to be my mommy or daddy.  I think my new mommy is trying, though.  She says she loves me.

I like to bark while she's gone, and I think some people around us have complained about that.  Mommy's started putting this weird collar on me while she's gone.  It sprays this smelly stuff at me when I bark.  Yuck.  Maybe I should stop barking so much.

I've been doing a little bit better about messing in the house while Mommy's gone too.  I just get so scared sometimes by myself.  But I only did it once last week, so hopefully I'll be able to make Mommy proud and do better from now on.

That's about it right now.  Life is ok, I just wish Mommy wasn't gone so much.  But I think she said she would take me for a walk today, so I'm excited about that.  Woohoo!

So far this new flea treatment doesn't seem to be helping me much.  We'll give it a few more hours, I guess, but right now I'm still scratching just as much.  My new owner (mommy?) seems sad about that.  Do I just have to get used to having fleas?

I've been good the last few days.  When I go outside, there are so many things to sniff at, so I check them out, but mommy doesn't seem to like that.  She wants me to hurry up and go to the bathroom.  I guess she doesn't like the cold outside.

I think mommy also wishes that more of her friends liked dogs.  I know she loves me, but not too many of them seem to be very excited that I'm here.  Oh well, as long as she loves me, I'm happy.

Well, it appears I have a new home.  It seems like I just keep getting moved around all over the place.  West side, east side, and back to the west side again.  Maybe I'll actually get to stay at this place for a while.  My new owner seems to want to keep me around.  I've been here a week now.  That's like a month and a half in dog weeks.

I can't seem to shake these fleas though.  My owner, however, seems determined to try to rid me of them.  I think she's planning on trying something new, so hopefully that works and I can stop scratching all the time.

I hope I get to stay here.  I really like my new owner.  She plays with me, even if she is busy a lot.  At least she's here a lot of the time!  She only leaves about once a day, and it's usually only for a couple of hours.  A few times she's left me for a lot longer than that, and it's been hard to wait so long for her to get back before I go to the bathroom, but I try my best.  I've only had a couple of accidents.

So far so good... I hope my good luck continues...
